Amberwood’s Rollbots Glides Over to CW4Kids

Amberwood Entertainment’s RollBots will be making its U.S. debut this fall on the new CW4Kids Saturday morning lineup. The CG-animated series, which has been airing in Canada on YTV since February 2009, was recently nominated for three Gemini Awards for Best Animated Program or Series, Best Direction in an Animated Program or Series, and Best Original Music Score for an Animated Program or Series.

“We are very excited by the news of our nominations”, says Jonathan Wiseman, Amberwood’s senior VP. “RollBots is a compelling new kids’ series and we are delighted that our dedicated team’s hard work has been recognized”.

RollBots follows the adventures of Spin, a crime-fighting robot who takes on the evil forces of Flip City. The speedy bot discovers facts about himself and the world around him in each of the action-packed episodes, targeted at 6 to 12 year old viewers.
