4Kids Ent. announced today that Jetix has licensed U.S. cable television broadcast rights for the hit animated series Chaotic. The action show is expected to join the Jetix Block this October, and will continue to air on weekends in the U.S. as part of the 4Kids TV four-hour Saturday morning programming block on FOX. In addition, 4Kids has licensed Chaotic to Jetix Latin America for pay satellite TV rights in that region.

A co-production of 4Kids, Teletoon Canada and Vancouver-based Bardel Ent., Chaotic is a CG-animated series that follows the adventures of two teenage boys who discover that the trading card game they've been playing serves as secret portal to a parallel universe where the unique codes on their trading cards can be used to control real, living creatures with unique powers. The boys then use these fierce and fascinating beings to help further their gaming skills as they capture the codes of new creatures, new battle gear and new competition environments.

"We are extremely delighted to forge this important relationship with Jetix that will ensure significant added broadcast coverage in the U.S. for the Chaotic animated series," comments Brian Lacey, exec VP of international for 4Kids Ent. "We are confident that the series will develop a strong and loyal kid audience with Jetix in the states, as well as Latin America."

Fans in the U.S. can also catch Chaotic on the Comcast VOD Channel. The show airs in English on Canada’s TELETOON, which will begin offering a French-language broadcast this month as well.

For its sixth year on FOX, 4Kids Ent.’s 4-hour Saturday morning kids block, 4Kids TV, has taken on the new moniker The Game Station and debuted two new original animated series on Saturday. Joining Chaotic, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fast Forward, Viva Pinata, Sonic X and Winx Club are Dinosaur King and Yu-Gi-Oh! GX.

Dinosaur King is an anime show that centers on Best friends Max, Rex and Zoe, who discover that they can bring dinosaurs to life and control them with ancient stone fragments and mysterious cards. Using their prehistoric pals, the kids take on an evil organization dubbed "Alpha Gang" in a bid to save the 21st Century.

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX is the latest incarnation of the popular series based on a card game phenomenon. The show takes kids to the world's most prestigious dueling prep school, Duel Academy, where Jaden and his friends have become upperclassmen and face new rivals and new monsters. 4Kids TV airs nationwide on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (ET) on the FOX Broadcasting Network.
