The young British actor playing Ravenclaw student Marcus Belby in the upcoming Warner Bros. production Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was stabbed to death during a fight in London on Saturday, according to Daily Variety. Rob Knox, 18, was one of five men taken to various hospitals after a brawl outside a bar. A 21-year-old is being held on suspicion of murder.
Knox plays a fairly minor role in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the sixth movie based on the popular series of books by author J.K. Rowling. The vfx-driven film is slated to hit theaters this November.

That\'s pretty sad news...
I never watch the Harry Potter movies though, so I probably won\'t get a chance to see him in it.
Nothing good comes from bars.

Its always tragic when a young person dies before hitting their prime but its rare to gain immortality in film. Life is not without a sense of irony. God speed Rob Knox.
