Flickerlab and its Danish partner Gonzoft have unveiled their real-time animation system, GO, at the Licensing International Expo this week in New York City.
GO allows performers to animate characters in real time using standard game controllers, with lip synching done live as the performer speaks into a microphone. Up to 16 characters can be lip-synched at once and the system's modular design lets the user add characters, scenes and libraries as needed.
Broadcasters in Europe, North America and the Middle East have used GO to create hundreds of hours of animation for broadcast while saving time and money.
