Nick Channels Celebrate “Shocktober”

Nickelodeon, Nick Jr. and sister networks Nicktoons Network and NOGGIN are treating kids to spooky marathons and new Halloween-themed episodes of hit shows later this month. Airing Saturday, Oct. 25 through Friday, Oct. 31, “Shocktober” programming will include installments of The Fairly OddParents, SpongeBob SquarePants, Back at the Barnyard, iCarly, The Naked Brothers Band and Drake & Josh, among others. Kid websites Nick.com and Nicktropolis will also offer new Halloween-themed online games.
Nickelodeon will premiere a new episode of The Mighty B! on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 10:30 a.m. (ET/PT). During the week of Oct. 27, the network will present nightly, back-to-back primetime Halloween-themed episodes from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. (ET/PT).
Nick Jr. will air holiday-themed episodes of Go, Diego, Go!, Ni Hao, Kai-lan and Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! during the week of Oct. 27. On Friday, Oct. 31, the preschool outlet will offer a Halloween marathon from 9 a.m to 2 p.m. (ET/PT), featuring episodes of The Backyardigans, Dora the Explorer, Go, Diego, Go!, Max & Ruby, Yo Gabba Gabba! and The Wonder Pets! Preschoolers can also enjoy a new episode of Pinky Dinky Doo on NOGGIN on Sunday, Oct. 26, at 3 p.m. (ET) during a day-long “Spooky Scary Halloween” marathon.
Nicktoons Network will begin airing back-to-back episodes of the classic Nickelodeon series Are You Afraid of the Dark? (1991-1996) every night from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. (ET), from Monday, Oct. 20, through Friday, Oct. 31. On Friday, Oct. 31, the net will spook kids with werewolves, vampires and zombies with new episodes of Ricky Sprocket: Showbiz Boy, El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera and Three Delivery during an all-day marathon running from 6 a.m. until 2 a.m.
