If you’re a fan of the popular Cartoon Network series Codename: Kids Next Door (2002-2008), you should check out the new book by the show’s talented creator Tom Warburton, 1000 Times No. Published by Harper Collins ($17.99, $12.23 on amazon), the charming book is all about a young boy named Noah who doesn’t want to listen to his mom when she says it’s time to leave. So he says “NO!” to his mom in Latin, Hindi, Dutch, Japanese, Tagalog—and yes, even in morse code and Robot language!
The Brooklyn-based animator and illustrator has been a driving force in the animation scene for the past 20 year, working on toons such as Sheep in the Big City, Disney’s Pepper Ann and numerous animated spots for the Big Apple’s awesome toon house Curious Pictures. 1000 Times No is Mr. Warburton’s first children’s book.
You can find a great teaser for the book and all kinds of fun facts and pictures on Warburton’s killer blog, http://warburtonlabs.blogspot.com.
