Paramount brings two new volumes of Nickelodeon cartoon favorites to DVD and VHS today with Rugrats Mysteries and SpongeBob SquarePants: Tales from the Deep.
The Rugrats double-length whodunit release features the episode “Murmur on the Ornery Express,” which puts Angelica, Tommy and the gang on an overnight train ride with a mysterious thief on the loose. Also included are the bonus episodes “The Fun Way Day,” which has the tykes getting in the way of a Feng Shui expert, and “Trading Phil,” which sees Angelica lending her younger brother to classmates in order to fit in.
SpongeBob SquarePants: Tales from the Deep contains all episodes from the VHS titles Bikini Bottom Bash and Deep Sea Sillies, including the double-length adventure “House Party,” as well as “Just One Bite,” “Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy,” “Born Again Krabs,” “I Had an Accident,” “Valentine’s Day” and more.
Special features include the music video “Underwater Sun,” a “Drawing to Goo Lagoon” activity and storyboards.
Both titles retail for $19.99 DVD and $12.95 VHS.
