These past three days, the biggest players in gaming put on an amazing show at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in downtown Los Angeles. For all of us gaming geeks, it was a thrill to get a sneak peek at the industry’s brave new world and sample some of the ultra-cool titles that are going to be released in the months ahead. We can expect to see some impressive game tie-ins to most of the new pop culture phenoms in our lives, from The Hulk, Matrix Reloaded, X-Men 2, The Lord of the Rings and Finding Nemo to American Idol, Terminator 3 and Fairly OddParents. (Thank God there we didn’t spot any Mr. Personality games at the confab this year!) In short, if you see a cool movie or a TV show coming up, you can bet there will be a kick-ass game featuring some amazing animation that goes along with it.
