Groovy Baby! Crave Finds its Mojo, Kicks Martian Butt

Vid-game publisher Crave Entertainment is releasing three more reasons to stay up until two in the morning when you really should be getting some beauty sleep.

The Los Angeles-based company is now shipping three new titles: Mojo! eJay Clubworld and Butt-Ugly Martians: Zoom or Doom for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system.

Mojo! is described as an addictive, challenging puzzle game that’ll appeal to both casual and hard-core gamers. The objective is to successfully collect all of the colored cubes in a level in order to get to the Mojo cubes needed to solve the puzzle in the shortest possible time. Mojo! also features a powerful 3D puzzle editor that allows players to create and share their very own Mojo stages. The game is available now for PS2 at a suggested retail price of $9.95. Mojo! for Microsoft Xbox players will be available later this month.

In eJay Clubworld, you can compose your own music hits with the powerful and easy-to-use eJay engine in DVD quality sound! You can also create your own sounds with user-friendly tools. Use a synthesizer, drum machine–even scratch with a virtual turntable. eJay Clubworld is available for the PlayStation2 at a suggested retail price of $9.99.

As for Butt-Ugly Martians: Zoom or Doom! it’s all about a heart-pounding, interstellar race. Players put the pedal to the metal in the most futuristic vehicles in the universe headed for the finish line. Emperor Bog is fed up with the Butt-Ugly Martians’ antics, so in order to continue their assignment on Earth, the Butt-Uglies must win the Martian Conqueror’s Cup. Players will fight off enemy attacks at every turn in super-slick O.M.A.B.s (One Martian Air Bikes) across nine intergalactic landscapes as they race, chase and conquer opponents. Butt-Ugly Martians: Zoom or Doom! for PS2 has a suggested retail price of $19.99.

Earlier this year, Crave Entertainment Group announced that it has revised the strategy of its publishing unit Crave Entertainment to focus on the acquisition of value and mass market products. This new strategy is designed to capitalize on the anticipated growth of the $19.99 and under segments of the next generation console platforms. These three titles are the first batch of games being released by Crave’s new business strategy.
