Toon Disney is giving you a chance to catch up on your Teachers Pet viewing before the feature film hits theaters on Friday, Jan. 16. This Sunday, Jan. 11, the Disney cable outlet is presenting a special four-hour marathon featuring eight consecutive episodes of the critically acclaimed animated TV series. The fun will begin at 8:00 a.m. and continue until 12:00 p.m.
Featuring the voice talents of two-time Tony Award winner Nathan Lane (The Lion King), Jerry Stiller (Seinfeld) and David Ogden Stiers (Lilo & Stitch), Disneys Teachers Pet follows the comic exploits of Spot, a talking dog who disguises himself as a boy in order to attend school. The show has picked up five Daytime Emmy Awards including two consecutive honors as Outstanding Animated Series. It has also garnered honors from the British Academy Film & Television Awards (BAFTA), the National Cartoonist Society and the World Animation Celebration.
The Disney Toon marathon will feature the episodes "What Sweat Got to Do With It," "Never Take Candy from a Kindergartner," "Strickers Pet/Fresh N Frozey Chocolaccino," "The Nose Knows/Dont Bite the Hound That Feeds," "You Cant Bite City Hall," "Attack of the Fifty Inch Girl," "Flipper," and "Dont It Make My Brown Eyes Green."
