In time for the opening day of MIPTV, Vanessa Chapman unveils the name of her new media and rights ownership outfit as Create Media Ventures today. She also announced a co-development alliance with former Create TV & Film player Bob Thompson.
Create Media Ventures will focus on creating, managing and exploring commercial branding of intellectual properties across publishing, media and commercial platforms, acting as parent company to the Create TV & Film, which continues to produce and manage hit preshool show, Little Robots. Bob Thompson’s Good Story Productions will also produce, develop and manage story-based productions for the youth audience. Good Story continues playing a pivotal role in producing BIONICLE.
"This is the first of a number of exciting new ventures for Create Media Ventures," says Chapman. "I’m delighted that Bob and I will be working together again…we bring a strong set of skills to the marketplace and already have a range of ideas and potential clients in the pipeline."
