Our friends at Mumbai, India-based one-day toon event Anifest reminded us that this is the big weekend for their exciting event. Organized by TASI & Asifa India, this cool confab will welcome 200-plus toon professionals to the colorful city Saturday, April 16. Held at the Ramada Plaza Palm Grove, Anifest 2005 will feature panel cdiscussion, screenings of toon projects, a Jam Session (where attendants are given 60 seconds to say whatever they want to say about animation!), a rock show by ace animator Suhel, as well as cocktails and dinner.
Anifest panelists include Debbie Pashkoff (Rhythm & Hues, LA), Geetanjali Rao (Famous Animation Studio), Jai Natarajan (ILM, Sony), Neelesh Gore (Future Thought), Prashant Kadkol (Indian Heritage Team Park Project), Priyam Chatterjee (Maya) and Sameer Kulavoor (Pentagram).
