The Force Is with Cartoon Network’s Star Wars: Clone Wars May Marathon

You knew it was coming! The thoughtful programming execs at Cartoon Network have scheduled a marathon of Genndy Tartakovsky’s landmark animated series Star Wars: Clone Wars on Saturday, May 14, at 7 p.m. Yes, that means you can view all 25 episodes of the show in one sitting, TiVo the cool toon for later viewing, and get totally in the mood for the May 18 release of Star Wars: Episode III–Revenge of the Sith in theaters.

Star Wars: Clone Wars continues the epic sage where the live-action feature film Star Wars: Episode II–Attack of the Clones left off, at the beginning of the Clone Wars, where a huge civil war pit the Old Republic against a vast separatist movement led by the Dark Side. In the concluding chapters, a group of Jedi Knights is being decimated by a powerful new enemy, General Grievous. After Yoda proposes that he be elevated to the level of Jedi Knight, Anakin and Obi-Wan investigate a separatist grouping on the far-off planet of Koobi. Meanwhile, Mace Windu and Yoda defend Corusant and protect Chancellor Palpatine. Got all that, or do we have to do deliver a Jedi Mind Trick on you? Do not forget. Saturday, May 14 ,at 7 p.m. right on Cartoon Network’s Toonami block is the place to be.
