Animation ‘It Guy’ of the year, Bob Boyle, has another reason to celebrate as Toon Disney recently picked up a second season of his hot Flash-animated show Yin Yang Yo for its Jetix block of programming. Toon Disney will air key episodes from the first season during its Yin Yank-Tastic Weekend (Friday March 9, from 7 to 9 p.m.). The 90-minute season finale (‘Woofoogeddon’) will air on Monday, March 12 at 7:30 p.m., followed by three back-to-back episodes. To promote the event, a special online game will launch on March 12 (www.jetix.tv/woofoogeddon).

Produced by Walt Disney Television Animation, the series centers on two kung fu-fighting rabbit siblings named Yin and Yang and their panda master, Master Yo! Yin Yang Yo!‘s September debut in its regular 7:30 p.m. timeslot was the most-watched original animated series premiere in the history of Jetix.

Show creator Bob Boyle, an alumnus of The Fairly OddParents, also created and exec produces Nick Jr.’s Wow! Wow! Wubbzy series. Steve Marmel is series writer and co-exec producer. Yin Yang Yo! Will premiere on Jetix in Europe and Latin America by the end of February.
