A four-hour marathon airing of Collingwood O’Hare’s award-winning series The Secret Show will kick off its second season on Nicktoons on Sunday, July 1st. The network’s VP and general manager Keith Dawkins announced today that 13 new half-hour episodes of the popular show will be airing on Nicktoons Sundays at 8 p.m. The marathon of the first season will begin at 4 p.m. Viewers can catch encore airings Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. (ET) as part of the Three Headed Monster programming block on the cabler.
Produced by the BBC and Collingwood O’Hare Entertainment, the show offers a fast-paced animated take on the action-packed world of secret agents, flavored with a decidedly British sense of. In part one of the season premiere, Victor and Anita travel deep underground into the lair of the Imposters, only to realize that an Imposter Professor Professor has already send them into a trap.
Viewers will also be invited to participate in a ‘Summer Marathon Mission’ on-air game that will be incorporated into the second season of the series. Each episode of The Secret Show features layers of hidden surprises to be discovered ‘all of which will be revealed on-air throughout the summer on Nicktoons .
BBC Worldwide owns the global cross-media rights for The Secret Show and will be representing the show at the Licensing Show this month. The Beeb will offer humorous contests, prizes, disguises and aliases each day on June 19 and 20, in booth # 3441, as well as in the booth of the BBC’s licensing agent, Dimensional Branding Group, #3473.
