Lil’ Bush Back in March

Comedy Central announced that the second season of the animated political spoof Lil’ Bush will kick off on Thursday, March 13 at 10:30 p.m. The ten new episodes will feature guest voice performances by Brittany ex Kevin Ferderline, Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead, Fred Scheider and Kate Pierson of The B-52’s, Joel Madden and Benji Madden of Good Charlotte and Los Angeles radio host Joe Escalante, as well as returning contributors Iggy Pop and Tim Meadows.

Lil’ Bush follows the misadventures of a young George Bush and his precocious pals Lil’ Condi, Lil’ Rummy and unintelligible, foulmouthed wisecracker Lil’ Cheney. Created and exec produced by Donick Cary, the show started as a series of cell phone shorts that became an instant hit on Amp’d Mobile. Comedy central acquired the property and stretched the concept out to fit the half-hour format, drawing 1.5 million viewers with its premiere back in June.

The series is co-exec produced by Jay Karas (The Naked Trucker & T-Bones Show, Channel 101). Seth Cummings and Peter Adderton from Amp’d Mobile also serve as exec producers, while David Koga and Zoe Friedman are the execs in charge of production at Comedy Central.
