Decode Enterprises has sold its preschool property Super WHY! To Nickelodeon U.K, it was announced yesterday. Produced by Out of the Blue Enterprises, Super WHY! promotes literacy skills through its interactive storybook adventures. Decode holds the worldwide TV rights to the series outside the U.S. Created by Angela Santomero and Samantha Freeman, the series targets three- to six-year-old viewers and offers different takes on classic fairy tales.
‘We’ve had a great response to Super WHY! with its story-based adventures,’ says Neil Court, Decode’s president. ‘It can be a challenge to find preschool programming that is both educational and strongly balanced with entertainment, but Super WHY! hits the mark and we are pleased to have signed this important deal with Nick Jr. for the standout series.’

The series currently airs in the U.S. on the PBS KIDS preschool programming block as well as on Canada’s CBC. Super WHY! Is also been sold to Singapore’s Kids Central, Korea’s KidsTalkTalk channel, ATV, EBS, Hana TV and Iconix Entertainment.
