The state of Connecticut welcomed last week its most animated new resident, Blue Sky Studios, which recently completed its move to Greenwich from White Plains, N.Y.
The studio has set up shop in a one-story, 106,000-square-foot space in the Greenwich American Centre, an upgrade from its three-story, 85,000-square-foot shop in White Plains, according to local newspaper The Advocate. Blue Sky, which is owned by Fox Filmed Entertainment, produced the Ice Age features and last year’s Horton Hears A Who!.
The state lured Blue Sky’which brings about 300 jobs with it’via tax incentives promoted by the Hollywood East Task Force in Hartford, which is promoting Connecticut as a film center.
