DreamWorks animator Devin Crane will debut his latest collection of art at the Corey Helford Gallery in Culver City, Calif. on Jan. 24 at 7 p.m. Titled ‘Love and Tears,’ the exhibit is inspired by Crane’s own personal experiences with relationships, and will examine America’s obsession with excess in relation to the need for love and interpersonal connection.
‘I am an art nouveau fanatic,” states Crane. ‘This showcase allows me to comb my background in film to create mood and atmosphere in my paintings, pulling the viewers into an experience of emotions. Audiences will find theology, classic themes and symbols woven into the paintings which add an identifiable layer for everyone of every culture.’
‘Love and Tears’ captures the essence of 15 subjects and their endless quest for true love. Learn more about Crane and his art at www.devincrane.com.
