PBS, CBC Ask for More Super WHY!

Super WHY!, the literacy-oriented animated series for preschoolers, has earned an order for a 15-episode second season from PBS Kids! and Canada’s CBC.

The series, produced by Out of the Blue Enterprises in conjunction with Decode Entertainment, will expand to a total of 80 half-hour episodes with the new order.

‘Kids seek fun and parents and broadcasters alike are always looking for strong preschool programming that balances entertainment with learning. Super WHY! covers both bases and has a proven track record on PBS KIDS in the U.S. and channels throughout the world,’ says Samantha Freeman, co-founder and CEO of Out of the Blue Enterprises and co-creator and executive producer of the show.

The critically-acclaimed program airs around the world on such channels as Nickelodeon U.K. and Australia, OKTO TV in Singapore; Korea’s EBS, KidsTalkTalk and Tooiverse; ATV in Hong Kong; Astro TVIQ for Malaysia and Indonesia, and Thailand’s True Visions. DECODE Enterprises holds worldwide television rights to the series excluding the U.S.
