Chapman Maddox has been named director of development for Six Point Harness Animation Studio.
Maddox comes to the company from Cartoon Network and Adult Swim, where he worked in comedy development and had a hand in such shows as Chowder, The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack and Adventure Time with Finn and Jake.
‘Working on the network side of the fence in both kids and adult animation has given me a great perspective of the marketplace, and provided me with a great feel for what people are looking for in today’s programming,” said Maddox. “I know Six Point has the killer creative skills and the artistic talent to deliver the next big thing, and I’m looking forward to helping lead that charge.”
In elevating Six Point Harness’s development profile, Chapman will be identifying new writing and comedic talent and putting together an aggressive slate of material as well as developing existing in house shows and new media assets.
He joins head of production Andy Fiedler, creative director Greg Franklin and CEO Brendan Burch.
