Yale Signs on to CIS as Head of Digital Studio

Janet Yale, a veteran visual effects producer and executive, has joined CIS Vancouver as the head of digital studio.

Yale come to job from working as an independent visual effect producer at CIS, having completed work on such recent films as Salt, The Tooth Fairy and Zombieland.

‘I’m happy to be joining this very talented CIS team as their Head of Digital Studio,’ says Yale. ‘I’ve worked with them over the last few years and have been so impressed with their creativity and elegant and efficient solutions to complex visual effects challenges. I’m looking forward to helping them grow and garner more challenging work as the company and Vancouver continues to become a major hub for the visual effects world.’

Yale’s career in visual effects includes stints at Camera Effects, Computer Film Co. and ESC. Her credits include such films as Braveheart, Con-Air and The Truman Show. She was an digital effects producer on such films as Mission: Impossible II, The Big Lebowski, American Beauty, The Matrix Revolutions and .
