T.U.F.F. Puppy is a 2D animated series from Butch Hartman, creator of The Fairly OddParents. The series features a gung-ho, dim-witted pooch named Dudley Puppy who is recruited into the spy and crime-fighting game by T.U.F.F., or Turbo Undercover Fighting Force, and teams up with Kitty Katswell to defend Petropolis from the forces of evil.
Planet Sheen is a CG-animated series from creators Steve Oedekerk and Keith Alcorn that stars the character Sheen Guevera Estevez from ,i>The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius TV series. In Planet Sheen, he finds himself stranded on a planet with limited technology, not-too-bright inhabitants and an Emperor obsessed with him.
Planet Sheen will air first at 11 a.m., with T.U.F.F. Puppy set to air at 11:30.
‘We are happy to bring two all-new animated series to Nickelodeon’s Saturday morning slate of hit Nicktoons,’ said Brown Johnson, president of animation for Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family Group. ‘In T.U.F.F. Puppy, the super-talented Butch Hartman spoofs the spy genre with the one two punch of a bumbling hero and moronic bad guys. In Planet Sheen, Steve Oedekerk and Keith Alcorn send everyone’s favorite goofball, Sheen Estevez, to outer space.’
Nickelodeon’s multiplatform efforts for T.U.F.F. Puppy and Planet Sheen include sneak peeks and promotional content that will stream on Nick.com as well as Nick’s wireless partners and the premiere episode will be simulcast on Nick Mobile.
