Create & phuuz Ready to Deliver ‘Iconicles’

Create Media Ventures and phuuz entertainment are close to wrapping the first season of Iconicles, their new animated/live-action series produced for the preschool set. The 26 x half hour High Def series, which will be ready for CBeebies this summer, features a live-action host named Nat (played by Gavin Stenhouse) who interacts with a colorful group of animated animal characters which seamlessly transform from 2D to 3D.

The production is based on an original idea by Lois Lee and exec producer Eric Radomski (Batman, Xiaolin Showdown, Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get a Clue!), in association with Foothill Entertainment. U.K.-based Dinamo Productions (Rastamouse, Grandpa in My Pocket) is also involved with the show’s animation. Australian outfit Beyond Distribution is handling worldwide rights while Foothill and Create Media Ventures retain U.S. rights.
