‘Ugly Americans’ Returns June 30 on Comedy Central

Comedy Central’s Ugly Americans returns for a wet, hot summer of zombie-loving good times with affable human social worker Mark Lilly (voiced by Matt Oberg), along with his creature cohorts of demons, wizards and robots.

The original, animated comedy returns with 10 half-hour episodes beginning on Thursday, June 30 at 10:30 p.m., following all-new episodes of the Emmy-winning Futurama, as part of a weekly, one-hour “Thurs-Dimension” animation block.

The premiere features Callie Maggotbone (Natasha Leggero) and Twayne (Michael-Leon Wooley) plotting to infiltrate a secret wizard compound where Leonard is training his apprentice, but their complicated strategy involves building a summer camp on a moment’s notice. With Mark Lillyas their head counselor, and Randall, Grimes and the DOI crew along for the ride, they soon discover there’s more to this camp than hot chicks and bug juice.

Special guest voice appearances for the second season include Christine Baranski, Rob Riggle, Todd Barry and Jenny Slate.

David M. Stern and Daniel Powell are the executive producers of “Ugly Americans,” which was created by Devin Clark. Aaron Augenblick and Richard Ferguson-Hull serve as animation directors.
