We’ve been covering the making of Nelvana’s fun animated comedy series Scaredy Squirrel for the past two year, and we’re happy to report that the show will finally make its U.S. debut on Cartoon Network this Tuesday (August 9) at 7 p.m.
Scaredy Squirrel is based on the popular book series by Canadian author Mélanie Watt, and features a loveable obsessive-compulsive critter who loves to stack cans into elaborate displays at the Stash n’ Hoard grocery store. The quirky Scaredy is also a huge paddleball fan and dreams of becoming the best paddler ever.
“Nelvana is excited about the buzz around our great new comedies like Scaredy Squirrel, and are especially pleased about our broadcast placement and partnership with Cartoon Network in the U.S.,” says Jerry Diaz, VP of Worldwide Sales at Nelvana Enterprises.
