Comedy Central and Spike TV’s videogame banner 345 Games has announced it will release Ugly Americans: Apocalypsegeddon for PlayStation Network on August 30 and Xbox LIVE Arcade on August 31, with a retail tag of $9.99. The game is published by Comedy Central Games and developed by Backbone Entertainment.
Based on Comedy Central’s hit animated series Ugly Americans (which airs Thursday at 10:30 p.m.) about a human social worker who helps immigrant monsters adapt to life in the Big Apple, Apocalypsegeddon is a four-player side-scrolling co-op shooter that combines the show’s otherworldly humor with classic dual analog shooting gameplay. The full voice cast of the show is featured (Matt Oberg, Kurt Metzger, Natasha Leggero, Rany Pearlstein, Micheal-Leon Wooley et al), with script by show writers and original characters created by series creator Devin Clark.
