Guru Brings Colorful Slate to Cannes

Guru Studio will introduce two new animated series and an animation anthology show at the MIPCOM market in France next week. “We are thrilled to be coming to Cannes with a diverse development state of programming for kid and teen audiences,” says Mary Bredin, VP of development and acquisitions at the studio. “These new programs demonstrate Guru Studio’s mission to produce innovative content that young audiences – of all ages – will want to watch.”

The studio’s third offering is a collaboration with Stash Magazine, a 26 x 22  collection of cutting-edge shorts films and music videos, compiled from the DVD mag’s library of projects.

Guru is currently in production on the second season of Justin Time, for Family Channel, Canada, and has also produced animation for Teletoon/Cookie Jar’s Mudpit series.
