Warner Home Video has released the official trailer for its upcoming DC Universe Animated Original Movie, Justice League: Doom, due out in early 2012 on Blu-ray, DVD, OnDemand and download.
The film, which is exec produced by Bruce Timm and directed by Lauren Montgomery (Batman: Year One), finds the Justice League on their heels when a team of super villains discover and implement Batman’s “contingency plan” for stopping any rogue Justice League member. The story is inspired by Mark Aid’s JLA: Tower of Babel tale and adapted by the late Dwayne McDuffie (All-Star Superman, Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths). Montgomery also produces with Alan Burnett (Batman: The Animated Series).

A DC Universe pedigree cast returns to familiar roles for this outing: Nathan Fillion (Green Lantern), Tim Daly (Superman), Kevin Conroy (Batman), Michael Rosenbaum (Flash), Susan Eisenberg (Wonder Woman) and Carl Lumbly (Martian Manhunter) are joined by returning villainous voices Phil Morris (Vandal Savage), Olivia d’Abo (Star Sapphire) and Alexis Denisof (Mirror Master). David Kaufman also reprises his role as Jimmy Olsen.
