Millimages Reports Global Sales for Four Series

European production and distribution company Millimages has secured  international broadcast deals for its animated children’s series Bugged, Me and My Robot, CJ the DJ and Trust Me, I’m a Genie.

ABC Australia and Italy’s RAI picked up the Timoon-produced 3D series Bugged. The 52 x 7 mins. Canal Plus-commissioned show relives the glory days of burlesque cartoons with no dialogue, endless gags and mishaps with hilarious characters.

The new 3D series Me and My Robot (52 x 13 mins.) has been presold to DR in Denmark, with NRK Norway and SVT Sweden coming on board in Scandinavia and VRT picking up the show in Belgium. The Millimages and Synergy Media co-production is a comedy that explores the everyday life of a group of friends who attend a high-tech robotics school.

Millimages has secured further business in Scandinavia, with both MTV3 Finland and TV2 Denmark picking up the CBBC and Canal Plus-commissioned Trust Me, I’m a Genie and the Kapow-produced CJ the DJ.

Both properties have also been sold in Ireland with CJ the DJ going to TG4, and RTE coming on board Trust Me, I’m a Genie.

Trust Me I’m a Genie (52 x 13 mins.) is a comedy-driven series based around Diego, a chilled out camel who lives in a peaceful oasis; while CJ the DJ (52 x 13 mins.) is a 3D animated series for kids about a young girl, nuts about music, who wants to share her passion with her friends and the wider world.
