Jim Henson Co. Promotes New Directors

The Jim Henson Company has promoted Meghan Sheridan and Blanca Lista to serve as directors in feature and TV development.

Sheridan is now the director of children’s entertainment and will report to Halle Stanford, the EVP of the division while Lista was promoted to director of feature development and will report to Lisa Henson, CEO of The Jim Henson Company. Both will be responsible for bringing in new projects, writers and talent.

Sheridan, who joined Jim Henson’s children’s entertainment department in 2010, has worked on the show such as Dinosaur Train, Me & My Monsters, and current productions Pajanimals and Wilson & Ditch: Digging America. Lista began at Jim Henson as a story editor in the feature film department in 2009. She is currently working on projects in development including Pinocchio with Guillermo Del Toro and The Doubtful Guest, based on the book by the late author and illustrator Edward Gorey.
