Walt Disney Pictures has released new images from Tim Burton’s highly anticipated feature take on Frankenweenie, which arrives in 2D and 3-D theaters October 5. Check out the official pics below.
Based on Burton’s acclaimed short and written by John August, Frankenweenie is the heart-warming if slightly creepy tale of a boy named Victor who harnesses the power of science to bring his dog Sparky back to life, with unintended consequences for the entire town. The voice cast includes Winona Ryder, Martin Short, Catherine O’Hara, Martin Landau, Charlie Tahan, Atticus Shaffer, Robert Capron and Conchata Ferrell. The stop-motion animated film is being produced in black and white and rendered in stereoscopic 3-D.
