Only a couple of weeks ahead of their movie’s release date, the stars of DreamWorks Animation’s summer movie Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted stole the spotlight at the Cannes Film Festival on Thursday. The third outing for the Bronx zoo animals finds them stuck in Europe and persuaded by a vicious French animal control official (voiced by Oscar-winning actress Frances McDormand. Along the way, they find the perfect cover, a traveling circus, where they meet a new set of European animals, including Stefano the Sea Lion (Martin Short), Gia the Jaguar (Chastain) and Vitaly the Lion (Bryan Cranston). You can read all about the making of the movie in the June issue of Animation Magazine.
