Turner’s Stuart Snyder to Deliver Keynote at MIP Junior

Stuart Snyder, the president and COO of Turner Broadcasting System’s animation, young adults and kids media division, has been tapped to deliver the keynote address at MIP Junior, which takes place October 6 and 7. Snyder will discuss the state of the kids’ media business today and look at where it’s heading, as well as reflect on Cartoon Network’s success as it celebrates its 20th anniversary.

“We’re delighted to welcome Stuart Snyder at MIPJunior this year, which will mark both Cartoon Network and MIP Junior’s 20th anniversaries,” said Laurine Garaude, director of the television division of Reed MIDEM. “Our new Digital Kids program, alongside the Co-production Exchange and the Licensing Marketplace, will reinforce MIP Junior’s role as the world’s leading event for kids programming, with more than 1,000 kids’ programs presented this year.”

Snyder added, “I’m honored to be speaking at MIP Junior this year and sharing our important milestone together. I also look forward to connecting with many of our international partners and discussing our ever-changing business and its future.”
