The new Adventure Time: The Complete First Season DVD is on top of our hot home entertainment releases of the week. The two-disc set, which includes all 26 episodes of the first season of the Cartoon Network favorite, also offers heaps of bonus features produced by show creator Pendleton Ward and the rest of the team.
Available today (July 10) for the suggested retail price of $26.95, the 286-minute release includes behind the scenes featurettes of the crew, composers and more filmed by Ward himself with his own cam-phone, animatics with commentary by Ward, Adam Muto, Pat McHale and Derek Drymon, and episode commentary from cast members and special guests including: “Prisoners of Love” with John DiMaggio, Jeremy Shada, Tom Kenny and Ward; “Ricardio the Heart Guy” with George Takei, Hynden Walch, Kenny, Shada and Ward; “Tree Trunks” with Bettie Ward and Polly Lou Livingston; and “Trouble in Lumpy Space” with DiMaggio, Shada, Kenny and Ward.
