French animation studio Alphanim has finalized deals with Disney XD Latin America and Disney Southeast Asia for its clever new animated series Dude, That’s My Ghost! (52 x 11’). A co-production with Disney XD EMEA, Dude, That’s My Ghost! will premiere on Disney XD U.K. on Saturday, February 2nd at 8:00am.
Dude, That’s My Ghost! follows the adventures of 14-year-old Spencer when he moves to Hollywood with his family and has to adjust to life with his new buddy, the ghost of uber-famous pop star, Billy Joe Cobra.
“The show is a character-driven comedy with unique storytelling and a strong character identity,” commented Alphanim’s managing director Pierre Belaïsch. “It has true international appeal and we are delighted at the opportunity to further our on-going relationship with the Disney Channels through these Latin American and Southeast Asian sales.”
