The New York International Children’s Film Festival (NYICFF) has announced the winners of its 2013 awards, presented March 17 at the DGA Theater, with the 2D French feature Ernest & Celestine, and U.K. short I Am Tom Moody taking home the top juried honors. This year’s jury was comprised of Geena Davis, Matthew Modine, Gus Van Sant, Christine Vachon, Jeffrey Wright, Susan Sarandon, James Schamus, John Canemaker, Tomm Moore, Lynne McVeigh, Dana Points, Taika Waititi and Evan Shapiro. Jury award winners qualify for the 86th Academy Awards next year.
