The Jim Henson Company launched the new YouTube pay channel Jim Henson Family TV on Thursday (May 7). The online platform will feature ad-free full episodes of shows such as Sid the Science Kid, Fraggle Rock and The Hoobs for the introductory price of $2.99/month or $24.99/year. Launching on the same day, Jim Henson TV para la familia en español (www.youtube.com/HensonEnEspanol) will debut Henson content in Spanish for $1.99/month or $17.99/year. In the near future, subscribers to the English channel can upgrade to include the Spanish channel for an additional .99/month or viewers can subscribe to both English and Spanish channels for $34.99/year.
Jim Henson Family TV offers YouTube’s highest level of content filtering, automatically engaging YouTube’s “safety mode” which identifies and filters out recommendations and links that may be inappropriate for young viewers.

Along with full episodes of favorite Henson titles, the channel will include curated playlists, behind the scenes clips, music videos, podcasts and parenting tips. With more content scheduled to be added, Jim Henson Family TV currently offers Sid the Science Kid, Fraggle Rock, Animal Show, Construction Site, The Hoobs, Mopatop’s Shop, Mother Goose Stories, The Secret Life of Toys, The Skrumps and The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss.
