South Korean international animation market Seoul Promotion Plan (SPP) being held this week has announced the 20 projects which will be competing for a $10,000 prize in three categories: Best Planning, Best Creativity and Best Technology. The finalists reflect the efforts of 12 different countries, including Canada—the focus of a special regional market and co-production session on July 25, which will feature Warren Buckleitner (VP Industry & Public Affairs, Canada Media Fund), Thom Chapman (Territory Manager-Distribution, DHX Media). Later that day Yoki Chin, president of Malaysia-based POSTAM, will present on global content development within South East Asia.
