Comedy Central’s dysfunctional animated forest rangers are returning for more outdoorsy antics as the channel debuts season two of Brickleberry on September 3 at 10:30 p.m. Produced by Fox 21 from exec producer Daniel Tosh (Tosh.0) and series creators/writers/EPs Waco O’Guin and Roger Black (Stankervision), the second season of 13 episodes will kick off following the fall premiere of Tosh.0.
The premiere episode, “Miracle Lake,” sees Woody discovering that Brickleberry Lake possesses mysterious healing powers, and he, along with help from Malloy, attempts to cash in on the phenomenon. Meanwhile, Denzel tries to break the world record for having sex with the oldest woman on Earth. The series stars Natasha Leggero as top ranger Ethel, Tom Kenny as head ranger Woody, Dave Herman as overconfident ranger Steve, Jerry Minor as the not-so-woodsmanly Denzel, Roger Black as tough as nails Connie and Tosh as cuddly yet vulgar resident bear Malloy. Jim Sharp and Ian Friedman serve as execs in charge of production for Comedy Central.
In addition, www.brickleberry.com will feature episode previews, highlights and photo galleries of concept artwork from the upcoming episodes, while the show’s Facebook page (/brickleberry) has been giving fans an early look at the upcoming season all summer long, including episodic artwork from animation studio Bento Box Entertainment, as well as photos and video from the Brickleberry Comic-Con appearance.
