Burbank’s Center Stage Gallery, also known as @CSG, is debuting its newest show The Collectors Corner on Friday, August 9 with an open reception from 7-10 p.m. The exhibition, which runs through September 1, will feature original artwork created by legends of the golden age of illustration on loan from private collectors–over 30 pieces of never-before-seen artwork.
Among the talented luminaries represented in The Collectors Corner are James Montgomery Flagg, Al Hirschfield, Mary Blair, John Gannam, Dean Cornwell, Vance Gerry, Jean Giraud (“Moebius”), Cliff Sterrett, Willard Mullin, Rowland Wilson, Heinrich Kley and Oliver Hurst. All work is on loan or for sale from The Goldberg Collection and the private collections of Stuart Ng, John Musker, Raul Garcia and other industry professionals who have contributed anonymously.
Through @CSG, the Creative Talent Network seeks to put both contemporary and legendary talents of the industry at center stage, highlighted by The Collectors Corner–a rotating show of private collections arranged to inspire artists and admirers. There will also be a new batch of art books from Stuart Ng Books on offer to compliment the show. Visit www.centerstagegallery.com for location, hours and upcoming events.
