Spain’s BRB Internacional will be bringing lots of goodies for its three newest catalog additions to Brand Licensing Europe next week. Filly Funtasia, Invizimals and Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures will offer a little something for every taste.
Filly Funtasia, based on the hit Filly brand from Dracco, is a new 3D animated comedy following a Unicorn Filly named Rose, the newest student at Funtasia’s School of Magic. 26 episodes of the Dracco, Screen 21, Black Dragon co-production will be ready by next year. The Filly brand is already present in over 50 countries, and is supported by special partners like Simba Dickie Group in most of its territories and by over 45 licensees, plus Dracco’s original product ranges.
Invizimals, comprising a 26-episode TV season and two specials, is based on the Sony Computer Entertainment Europe videogame franchise and is the first of its kind to incorporate Augmented Reality technology to amplify its second screen content through an interactive app for PSVita, Android and iOS devices. Spain’s TVE has recently confirmed its production involvement and will premiere the show on Clan at the end of the year. The TV premiere will coincide with the launch of two new games from SCEE for PlayStation Vita.
Finally, Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures updates the classic arcade game hero for the new millennium with slick CG animation. 41 Entertainment and BRB, its agent in Iberia, have just announced a number of licensees in the region. Among these are Panini Espana (stickers, trading cards, albums), Random House Mondadori (activity and first reader books) and Indeca Business (accessories for video consoles and tablets); with t-shirts and pajamas closed and several other categories under negotiation.
