The hotly anticipated brick-smashing action of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is within your grasp now as Warner Bros. Interactive launches the action adventure game on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and Windows PC. Also available is LEGO Marvel Heroes: Universe in Peril for Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita handheld systems. The game, developed by TT Games in partnership with The LEGO Croup and Marvel Entertainment, is also a launch title for the PlayStation 4 and scheduled to release in North America on November 15 and 22 on Microsoft’s Xbox One.
In LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, players take on the role of favorite comic-book characters like Spider-Man, Iron Man, Wolverine, Thor, Captain America and the Hulk as they assemble to battle menacing super villains, including Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin, Red Skull, Venom, Loki and Galactus, Devourer of Worlds. Along the way, players can unlock more than 100 playable characters (among them: Mystique, Elektra, Mandarin, Silver Samurai, Malekith, Aldrich Killian and Super-Skrull) and choose from a plethora of bonus characters like the Guardians of the Galaxy, Punisher, Captain Britain, Squirrel Girl and the sass-mouthed Deadpool.
As an added treat for fans, one of the featured “characters” is none other than Stan “The Man” Lee himself—players can rescue him from perilous predicaments and unlock him as a super-powered, playable character. And for the first time in a LEGO game, super sized figures like Colossus, Lizard, Juggernaut, Blob, Red Hulk, Iron Man’s Hulkbuster Armor, Rhino, Thing and more allow for even more intense brick smashing abilities.
