Turner Broadcasting has promoted Cecilia Persson to the newly created role of VP, Acquisitions & Co-Productions, Kids, EMEA and International. Persson will oversee and negotiate shared acquisitions for Turner Broadcasting’s international kids business, working closely with the local heads of programming and acquisitions of each of the channels and the content heads within EMEA, Latin America and Asia Pacific.
Persson will report to Chief Content & Creative Officer, EMEA, Patricia Hidalgo for all EMEA content requirements and also VP & Channel Manager, Cartoon Network (Latin America), Pablo Zuccarino and Chief Content Officer Mark Eyers (Asia Pacific) for international acquisitions and co-productions.
Cecilia was previously VP, Acquisitions and Co-Productions, EMEA.
