Patrick Warburton to Host 41st Annies

The 41st Annual Annie Awards, will be hosted by popular comic actor and voice-over star Patrick Warburton, on Feb. 1st, 2014 at UCLA’s Royce Hall.

“We are really excited to have Patrick hosting this year’s ceremony,” said ASIFA-Hollywood president, Frank Gladstone. “With his love of animation and deadpan comedic style, we know he will keep the show lively, funny and very entertaining.”

Warburton is best known for his role as Elaine’s boyfriend on Seinfeld and the musclebound blue superhero in the Fox sitcom The Tick, but he has voiced numerous animated characters throughout his career, including shows such as Family Guy, The Venture Brothers, Hercules, and Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. He also voiced sorceress Yazma’s (Eartha Kitt) not-too-bright thug assistant in Disney’s feature, The Emperor’s New Groove (2000) as well as features such as Home on the Range, Chicken Little, The Wild and Bee Movie. Last year, he appeared in Seth MacFarlane’s Ted, and next year, he will lend his voice talent in DreamWorks’ Peabody and Sherman movie as well as Disney’s Planes 2: Fire and Rescue.
