Sinking Ship Launches Distribution, Appoints Lynn Chadwick

Award-winning kids content production and digital media company Sinking Ship Entertainment has launched an international distribution arm with the appointment of longtime industry exec Lynn Chadwick to the position of VP Sales & Distribution. In her new role, Chadwick will be responsible for supporting existing partnerships and maximizing opportunities for the company’s upcoming slate of live-action and animated series and original online content worldwide.

“The launch of our own distribution division is a natural next step in Sinking Ship’s growth as we look to 2014 with our biggest production slate to date,” said Blair Powers, Partner and Executive Producer, Sinking Ship Entertainment. “We are delighted to have someone of Lynn’s vast experience and expertise, in both international sales and broadcast acquisitions, lead the distribution of our exciting new series and digital content.”

Chadwick brings with her 20 years of experience in global program sales, acquisitions and broadcast. Before joining Sinking Ship, she was VP, Network Content Acquisitions and Pay TV at Corus Entertainment, where she managed all acquisition activities across the company’s cable and pay TV services, including kids outlets YTV and Treehouse. Previously she held top sales and distribution positions at Nelvana Enterprises.
