‘End’ Cast Reuniting for Toon ‘Sausage Party’

Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg have recruited an all-star voice cast for the duo’s first animated feature film, Sausage Party.

James Franco, Michael Cera, Jonah Hill, Kristen Wiig, David Krumholtz and Nick Kroll — all alumni of Rogen and Goldberg’s live-action directorial debut This is the End — have all agreed to enter the booth for the new film. Edward Norton reportedly also has agreed to provide a voice for the film, which Rogen and Goldberg wrote with Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir.

Animation veterans Greg Tiernan and Conrad Vernon will direct the feature, due out in 2015 from Sony/Annapurna.

Nitrogen Studios Canada in Vancouver is doing the CG animation for the feature, which follows the adventures of a sausage that falls out of a shopping cart and tries to make it back to the grocery story before the Fourth of July shopping frenzy.
