New This Week: Geek Out with ‘Dilbert’ and Others on DVD

The Emmy-winning toon adaptation of Scott Adam’s hilarious working schlub comic strip is once again available to fans as Mill Creek Ent. releases Dilbert: The Complete Series on DVD this week. Yep, you can relive all the excitement from the 1999-2000 UPN comedy–30 episodes in all–on three shiny discs. Y’know. In case you can’t figure out Hulu or Netflix. But with streaming content contracts seemingly shifting about every time you get around to reorganizing your queue, we recommend keeping a hard copy of this gem on hand.

The regular series cast stars Daniel Stern as Diblert, Chris Elliott as Dogbert, Larry Miller, Gordon Hunt, Kathy Griffin, Tom Kenny, Jason Alexander, Maurice LaMarche and Tress MacNeille (among others). And Dilbert’s struggles with the Gruntmaster 6000, male pregnancy, the meaning of “Art” and more kooky scenarios also feature great guest stars like Stone Cold Steve Austin, Andy Dick, Jon Favreau, Gilbert Gottfried, Tom Green, Christopher Guest, Wayne Knight, Jay Leno, Eugene Levy, Jerry Seinfeld, Billy West and even Mr. Moviefone! [$9.98, January 21]
