Acamar’s ‘Bing Bunny’ To Make MIPTV Debut

U.K. indie Acamar Films has announced it will be partnering with leading Irish animation studio Brown Bag Films and London-based Tandem Films to co-produce a new animated series based on award-winning author/illustrator Ted Dewan’s Bing Bunny books. The show will launch with initial episodes available for viewing at MIPTV in April. Further, Acamar has made a multi-territory representation agreement with The Licensing Company to develop the property with key partners around the world.

Bing Bunny (78 x 7) is being developed for BBC’s preschool channel CBeebies, which will premiere the cuddly new series this spring. Acamar also announces that “a number of key global broadcasters” are on board as well, with sales to be officially announced soon.
