Shout! Factory will distribute the animated film Jack and the Cuckoo-Clock Heart (Jack et la Mécanique du Coeur) in the United States and Canada under a new deal with EuropaCorp.
Shout! Factory has secured all distribution rights to the film, including theatrical and digital distribution, home entertainment and broadcast for cross-platform releases. Shout! Factory plans a strategic rollout of this film in select theaters, video-on-demand, subscription video-on-demand, electronic-sell-through, television and in all packaged media in 2014.
Directed by Mathias Malzieu and Stéphane Berla, Jack and the Cuckoo-Clock Heart is a CG-animated family adventure produced by Virginie Besson-Silla and EuropaCorp.
Adapted by Malzieu from his own bestselling novel and the gold-selling album by his band Dionysos, Jack and the Cuckoo-Clock Heart is an animated fairy tale set in an exciting period full of fabulous inventions, unforgettable characters, enchanting music and fantastic adventures.
The film features the voices of Mathias Malzieu, Olivia Ruiz, Grand Corps Malade, Jean Rochefort, Rossy de Palma, Babet, Marie Vincent, Emily Loizeau, Dani and Arthur H. The English-language voice cast features Orlando Seale, Samantha Barks, Harry Sadeghi, Stéphane Cornicard, Sophia Ellis, Jessie Buckley, Barbara Scaff, Michelle Fairley and Richard Ridings.
